ABOUT:
Hunter Orland
Hunter is an artist and creative born and raised in the island of Guåhan. She always experiments with unconventional materials, found-objects, fiber-art, and mixed media but clay sculpture is her forever comfort medium. No matter the material, Hunter’s work explores memories, fears, and challenges based on her everyday life. Her work carries a theme of interactivity through eating, touching, or wearing. A mix of light-hearted, creepy, influenced by many stop-motion & puppet films, with a dash of humor, and out comes Hunter’s artwork full of little dudes she calls: “mañahaks”.
She has done work in design, publications,and shown in museums and various galleries. She is also a huge foodie and cat lover.
